DEATH TODAY OF MRS. A. S. SISLEY
Had been Resident of Keokuk for th Past Nineteen Years, With
a Most of Friends Here.
WAS BORN IN MISSOURI
She Been in failing Health for Two
Years and sertoualy III for ths Past Two Weeks
France A. Sisley, wife of Arthur S, Sisley of 1117 Fulton street, passed away at her home this morning at 11:30 o'elock following a long illness. Mrs. Sisley had been in failing health for the peat two years and had been seriously ill for two weeks. Death was caused by heart and stomach trouble.
Mrs. Slsley was bora in Clark county, Missouri, on April 11, 1855. Her maiden name was Frances A. Swan and she was married to Arthur S. Sisley at Canton, Mo, on Dee. 10, 1870.and Mrs. Sialey came to Keokuk nineteen years ago and had made their home since.
The.decedent is survived by her husband. one son, Arthur L. Sisley of this united and a daughter, Mrs. Lily M. Webb of Quincy, Ill. There are also six grandchildren living. One daughter is dead. There is also a brother, Sanford Swan of Wyanet, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Sarah A. Scott of Mendon, Ill.
Mrs. Sisley possessed a host of friends, and acquaintances in Keokuk, and they will be sincerely grieved to hear of her death. Although ill for the past two years, and she bore her suffering patiently, and passed away peacefully. She was held in high "can't read" esem here, and sympathy of
the community has been extended to the greaved family. The funeral arrangements have not been made, waiting word from relatives.

NATIVE OF OHIO DIES IN KEOKUK
Mrs. Arthur 3. Slsley Passes Away This Morning at Her Home, 202
Bank Street—Death From Toxine Poisoning.
Mrs. Arthur S. Sisley of 202 Bank street, died this morning at 1:30 o'clock at her home from toxine poisoning. She had been ill since Thanksgiving day. Mrs. Slsley was a native of Ohio, bu-t had lived in Keokruk since 1887.
Elmira Thompson was born April 2, 1867, at Mayresville, Ohio. She came to Keokuk in 1887 where she lived the rest of her life. On June 8, 1920, she married Arthur S. Sisley of this city, her husband by a former marriage, John Brice, having preceded her in death some time ago. Mrs. Sisley was a member of the Trinity Methodist church.
The survivors are 'the husband,seven children by the first marriage and a brother and sister. The children are: Roy M. Brice, Charles W., John M„ Mrs. C. B. Casey, Mrs.Hugh Beaird, all of Keokuk Merideth E.. Spokane, Wash. Mrs.Robert Lenney, Chicago: Mrs. Albert Stanton, a sister, and Charles Myers, a half-brother, live at Kenton. Ohio.I There are also several grandchildren.
